Current Role
Currently, I’m designing at
Sarmaaya Financials, where I’ve led projects like the Zar Portfolio Management App, Budgeting App, and an LMS for Sarmaaya Trainings. Alongside fintech tools, I’ve also worked on branding, event design, and social media assets, ensuring cohesive digital experiences.
Freelance Work
I also freelance alongside my full-time role, delivering end-to-end solutions for global clients. My work spans from a Japan-based Uber-style app to websites for startups like Photon Brains and nonprofits like Giraffe and platforms like Trusted ICS. Recently, I’ve also designed apps such as Taskee, focusing on simplicity, scalability, and user-friendly experiences.
Education
BS Computer Software Engineering, COMSATS University (2019 – 2023)
📈 Investing & Trading Journey
I started my investing journey back in university, experimenting with forex trading. While learning, I realized how much design and finance overlap — both require clarity, strategy, and risk management.
In my final year project, I created a portfolio management app. That project opened the door for me: I was selected as a UI/UX Designer at Sarmaaya Financials.
At Sarmaaya, I didn’t just design fintech products like Zar — I also began investing regularly in the stock market. With time, my understanding grew, and so did my returns. Within a year, I achieved 100% growth on my portfolio.
To strengthen my foundation, I completed Sarmaaya trainings on:
Fundamentals of the Capital Market
Technical Analysis
Today, I continue investing and trading while designing fintech solutions. This unique combination allows me to bring real investor insights into the products I design — making them practical, intuitive, and impactful.
